In Montreal I tried to do the same thing that I was doing when I was in Victoria. I mean I also tried to stay a couple of days in some places from people who I had known before through HC and/or CS, moving all the time. However, the weather did not help too much. In addition I did not find anyone like Chris and Heidi there. I was able to moving all the time for a month and a couple of weeks. First I stayed for a week in a hostel - HI Montreal. After that I went to Sylvie's place at Joliette metro station just beside the Olympic Stadium to stay for five days. Sylvie gave me a ride around the city and I could after a week living in Montreal know a little bit more about this amazing city. Sylvie is a French Canadian woman who I started to learn french.
Coincidentally she was going to Victoria, BC where I was living until last year. She was planning cross Canada by car going from Quebec to British Columbia. She also asked to some HC and CS members about hospitality.

After Sylvies's place I went to have fun with Genéviève's friends. There I stayed just a weekend because the couch wasn't so confortable, even though, the girls were very kind and nice. I though my adventures should be continue in another place.

After Gene's place I went to Arlinda's place to stay a week. She was pick me up at Gene's place as Sylvie left me there by car before. Arlinda is a very intelligent women who loves Brazil people and culture. She already came to Brazil some year ago. She is from Albania and she has lived in Montreal for over eight years. She is Marketing Director at Aldo. I had a good time at her house because she likes to talk and she also cooks very well!
After Arlinda's place I still went to live for a week at Marie Andrée, a Genévève's friend who asked me if I'd like to stay there for a couple of days. So there I go! Marie Andrée is very kind and nice. She support "Quebec Livre" and we were albe to talk about politics, culture and other things.
As you can see I stayed in too many places... I still stayed a couple of days at Jenifer's place. Jenifer is a first generation of chineses who was born in the U.S. However, she is living in Canada while their parents are living in the States. She was very nice with me, even though I almost didn't stay in. Finally, I stayed almost two weeks at Ron's place on Papineau which is the best neighbourhood in Montreal. He was Arlinda's boos at Aldo until he had been fired a week before. I stayed in his place until his roomate came back from the Netherlands.
After Ron's place I decided to rent a room. Even though my experience meeting a lot of nice people and learning so much of them was very cool and interesting, I needed some place to stay for the rest of my trip. I was being tired to move all the time... This was a reason why I didn't post anything on here too.
Then, I went to live with two girls (more a big dog and two cats). I couldn't stand living there for much time. I was feeling lonely because there I had a deal, I wasn't there because they were nice like my other experiences. In addtion I really don't like pets at all. So after living two weeks there I decided keep going with my adventures and for my lucky I found Yvan. A nice quebecoa who loves Brazilian people and Brazilian movies. He is even able to talk a little bit portuguese because he studies it sometimes. There I stayed almost one month until I came back to São Paulo.
